The OYE womens team!
We were joined by some friendly faces-OYE women from Las Panchas, and COPROME.

The tournament has had three action filled weekends with both mens and womens games. The excitement continues to grow! Teams have begun showing up to other teams games to cheer them on and scout out competitors.
In other big news, OYE is going to celebrate its fourth anniversary in June! Which means we are going to pack June full of fun events for the students and community. Our month long celebration will begin on the 4th with OYE el Ritmo anniversary concert!
On the June 4th, local high schools will present dances of all types, including hip hop, modern, and folklore/traditional. OYE student band, Abreak Elhoe, which was formed last year to play at the third anniversary concert will rock it again this year! After that OYE will be presenting the bands Estrellato, a punk rock boys band, Lita Garifuna, a traditional coastal percussion group, and then Polache, a raising star, will finish the concert.
