COPA OYE 2012

Once a year, the Organization for Youth Empowerment organizes an event that brings together boys and girls from different schools, different backgrounds, and different social circles to compete in a soccer tournament.  COPA OYE 2012 began on June 16th and ended on June 30th with two champions, but many excited participants.  On Saturdays and Sundays, school teams, club teams, or just groups of friends battled in a 7v7 soccer stadium in front of cheering fans, family and friends. This year, over 180 youth participated in the tournament, with several hundred youth and families coming to watch the weekend games.
