Hola somos los becarios de oye el ritmo y somos el grupo numero 2 y nos hacemos llamar los chicos superpoderosos a continuacion les vamos a presentar nuestro trabajo esperamos que sea de su agrado:
Esta fue nuestra foto de despedida casi llegando a las oficinas de oye y somos una parte del grupo .Una de las actividades que realizamos fueron encontrar los sonidos de alguna lista de objetos que nos dio nuestro maestro Carlos Nasman.

Ellas son algunas de las otras integrantes y la motocicleta fue uno de los objetos de la lista que nos dieron.

Esta es la foto de exivicion de nuestra busqueda y el auto tambien es otro de los objetos de sonido que nos dieron en la lista y es el objeto con mas valor en la lista y habia un calor tremendo bueno no sabriamos como explicarlo .Esta es la moto que encontramos como uno mas los objetos de lista.

Y este es el profesor el que nos dio la lista de los objetos a buscar el tesoro por nuestra ciudad.

Este es el chico superpoderoso. que nos ayudo atomar las fotos de ,los objetos de la lista.

Reggaeton: Good Rhythms or Machista Music?

On Friday, fifteen OYE scholarship students participated in recording the third pilot program of the radio show OYE el Ritmo. This week they talked about the message that Reggaeton music sends to young people. The students gave their opinions about the rhythms and lyrics of the music and then went out into the city to interview others. In addition to the commentary and debate, the show also includes the Top 5 and sports. As they become more comfortable speaking into a microphone, their voices relax and grow stronger. Enjoy listening to their best effort yet!

OYE el Ritmo--OYE Radio

Hola, my name is Carl (¨Carlos¨ here in Honduras) and I am the newest OYE volunteer! I arrived in El Progreso on August 9th after a month and a half in Guatemala on the advice of a friend from Dumbarton Church in D.C. Back home in New York City I work as a TV sports broadcaster so I will be spending most of my time working with one of OYE´s newest programs, OYE radio.

We have now completed two pilot programs which include local and international news and sports, commentaries on youth issues, interviews, and a top-5 music countdown. Each week, twenty kids get the opportunity to learn all the different sides of a radio show: production, editing, music, news, and presenting. Luis, OYE program coordinator and our radio director, hopes to have OYE el Ritmo on the air in about a month with Radio Progreso (a local radio station in El Progreso) and online at the OYE website. So stay tuned!
